HTML Tutorial part-1

Hi, how are you today?  Do you want to learn programming? Then you should start with the HTML programming language. Let me inform you about the origin of HTML.
HTML means Hyper Text Markup Language. A HTML document is very simple as an ordinary text file.

There are no sound files, image file in a plain HTML file. But you can add them later. Basically it is a very easy, simple and powerful programming language.
Uses:
A webpage with information, interactive contents can be creating using HTML language. And maximum web pages are made using HTML. Web page can be made by various software like “Microsoft front page”, “joomla”, ”wordpress”, “macromedia Dreamweaver”. But if you want to be a web designer, and get a job in software farm or want to earn online, than you have to learn HTML. Cause every time it is may not be possible to make web page using software, maybe sometime you need to code it by yourself.
When you will design a web page, then it will be web design. And the web development is related with programming. That’s the difference between web development and web designing.
Normally HTML is use to create a webpage. It’s not really a programming language, a web browser use it to render a web page.
You may see the source code of a webpage. To view the code, open a web page with your browser and then go to page source option in view menu. You can see some English words between <> and </> sign.
These two signs are known as HTML tag.
If you want to know more about origin of HTML language simply click here.
On the next tutorial we will program our very first HTML code. Before we go to our lessons, we have to know our materials before we use them.
To write the HTML code you will need a text editor program.  We can use “Notepad” the default text editor program of windows.
We will need a browser also, to run our HTML code. I will use Mozilla Firefox web browser to run our code. If you do not have a browser, you can collect it from here.
